We are Jonathan and Lindsay...a husband and wife team that has expanded to include our daughter, Natalie, and our son, Tyler. We have been serving the Colorado Springs and Front Range areas since moving here in October 2006. When we first met in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2000, Lindsay had just moved from Dallas, TX, and was beginning her music therapy work with children who have special needs; Jon was in the early stages of building his career in photography and still a volunteer firefighter. During these dating years, we dreamed of living in the mountains and escaping the humidity we had always lived in! So when we got married in December 2004, we decided to put our dreams in motion! We set a goal to be moved out west within two years. So we used our honeymoon road trip to see parts of Montana and Wyoming, spending most of our time in Yellowstone. We returned from that trip feeling like we needed to research more places. Colorado Springs entered our minds shortly after, so, of course, we planned another road trip in early 2006. We love road trips...though now with two kids, it's a little different and more challenging! We loved Colorado, so we quickly made our plans, said our good-byes, and arrived in August of 2006. We've never looked back!
Our photography business reflects so much of ourselves. We love the outdoors, and all of our sessions typically involve God's studio...there are so many beautiful places here, and we've loved getting to explore much while "working!" We love people, and it's been such a blessing to meet and serve our couples and families and be invited into incredibly special moments in their lives. We love that we have clients that have become friends and friends that have become clients! We love each other and our children, and we continue to feel blessed to work together each and every day and learn how to balance it all with two kids! Life always involves some chaos, but isn't it more fun and exciting that way? We love to travel, and whether it's traveling for a job or for ourselves, we love bringing our love for photography and capturing our memories to new places. What can we say? God has truly blessed us in the pursuit of our dreams.
In 2009, we were recognized as a Top 5 Studio in Southern Colorado and continue to have our work receive honors in international competition. We have also been seen in The New York Times.
We approach each job individually and love the relationships that we build with each couple and family we serve.
